Sensor Mitts

Model MD SM1 (single) & MD SM2 (pair)

The Sensor-Mitt is an exciting new concept in metal detection products, which offers advantages over previously available conventional products in a variety of situations. The universal Mitts (left or right hand use) fasten on with two velcro straps and can be used singly, or for speed can be worn as a pair. The open style design ensures operator comfort when used in warm environments, whilst if it is cold, the Mitts can be worn over gloves without impairing performance. In operation the Mits allow the easy and automatic detection of any metal objects during a quick non contact "Pat Down" check. 

Unlike conventional wand detectors which typically provide an audible signal, the Sensor-Mitt alerts the operator to the presence of any type of metal object with a vibrating signal transmitted to the operators wrist. Not only is the vibrating signal more discreet than an audible siren, but can also be much more reliable in noisy environments.

Great for use in noisy locations or where speed of scanning is a priority, these units are ideal for use in single sex environments, etc., however although no physical contact between the 'scanner' and the 'scanee' is required, the apparent intimacy of the body sweep may render these units less suitable for situations where male staff may need to scan females or vice vers
