Our security expansion bolts / security grille anchors are available in two styles: Tamper Resist Pin Hex or Permafix drill out head 

Pin Hex Head - Anti Tamper Expansion Bolt 
The pin hex form of expansion bolt is tightened (and can be undone) with the appropriate specialist driver, and is therefore an anti tamper fixing. The bolts are made from steel, bright zinc plated and a special driver is required

Drill Out Head - Permafix Security Expansion Bolt 
Designed primarily for permanently fixing security grilles & bars in place, these innovative bolts are a great time saver. They avoid the need to weld the fixing bolts in position to prevent their unauthorised removal as would be necessary with standard bolts. No special driver is required.

The drill out head form of expansion bolt is tightened with a conventional hex driver. When fully tightened the hex socket is drilled out to leave a circular socket, thus preventing subsequent removal of the bolt. The bolts are made from steel, bright zinc plated.

Alternative products for use with standard bolts include 'Armour Ring' & 'NoGo'
